Letter
The author [possibly Zahra Sultan ‘Izzat al-Saltanah] conveys family news: Mahmud Khan and Ma‘sumah Khanum both have a cold and Aqa [Nizam al-Saltanah] is preparing for his trip to Kirman. She talks about Salar Muhtasham's telegrams from Tabriz and the unrest there. ‘Izzat al-Saltanah describes the renovations in the Baha’ al-Mulk's garden. On the opposite page there is a note in a different handwriting about choosing a place, probably for vacation.

Petition by Mulla Karim's wife
Petition by the wife of Mulla Karim ‘Attar (herbalist) from Marand to Hujjat al-Islam regarding Shaykh Manaf, who had deprived the wife of Mulla Karim's brother from her mahr and rights, demanding that she should have proof of marriage while they had been married for 40 or 50 years. After Mulla Karim's death, Shaykh Manaf also deprived his wife, the petitioner, from her rights and assigned Dadashi from Huchqan as the guardian of her underage daughter. Then, they divided the child's share of inheritance between themselves.

Letter
The writer complains that the addressee has not written any letters since leaving Maraghah; the writer has gone through difficult times during which he expected caring letters from the addressee and his family, but the addressee must have been very busy; since then, the writer has learned about the addressee's whereabouts and about his job at the registry office of Tabriz. He asks for frequent letters and sends greetings on behalf of his nieces and nephews, as well as his children, Amir and Ibrahim; he also sends special greetings to Sarkar ‘Illiyah ‘Aliyah Khanum and the respected brothers.
